Cuteness Overload: Australia's Oldest Man Knitted Sweaters for Australia's Tiniest Penguins

If there was an award for "World's Cutest Event Ever", this would definitely take first place: 109-year-old Australian Alfred Date has been helping Australia's smallest endangered penguin population by knitting them teeny-tiny sweaters.

Alfred started helping out in 2013 when Victoria’s Phillip Island Penguin Foundation asked for volunteers to help the penguins who were severely affected by oil pollution.

 

If this didn't make your heart grow three sizes today, you may as well be a tiny sweater wearing penguin Grinch.
