Will Smith Told a Bedtime Story to Times Square at 'Big Sleep Out' That Surprised Everyone

December 9, 2019

This past Saturday Will Smith took the stage at Times Square's "Big Sleep Out", a worldwide fundraiser to end homelessness. To everyone's surprise, he performed a rendition of the theme song from his hit 90's TV show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". He told the crowd to "get comfortable" as he read aloud the theme song in a bedtime story-esque style...talk about dreams being made for every 90's kid there!

The fundraiser was organized by Josh Littlejohn, the owner of a chain of Scottish sandwich shops and an advocate for providing jobs, shelter, and housing for people who need them. Hundreds flooded Times Square and 50 other major cities around the world, spending the night in sleeping bags. Ziggy Marley, Ellie Goulding, Meghan Trainor and Sean Kingston performed for those participating at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
