5-Year Old Girl Will Be Youngest Contest Ever In Scripps Spelling Bee History

Edith, is officially the youngest child to qualify for the National Spelling Bee. The 5 year old girl who has a knack for spelling words entered a regional competition and beat out her competition.

The word that got young Edith Fuller to Washington D.C. was "jnana" but she was also nailing words like "colloquial" and "sevruga" along the way. 

She beat out 50 other competitors in the process. You can learn more about her incredible history making performance below:
